To The One Who Doesn't
I look for you in empty sidewalks,
thinking, maybe you would pass by someday.
Our eyes would meet, and like a deer caught
in the glow of headlights of a speeding car,
you would simply cease to exist without me.
I search for your name in white sheets
of paper everytime I board a train.
Wishing, secretly, that you would be the
one to sit beside me. You'll strike a conversation
seeing through my facade. Then we'll keep talking, forever.
I glance at every bus that pass by
everyday when I return from office, tired
of being lonely in the crowd. All the while,
keeping an eye at the windows, who knows,
maybe you would be looking out for me too!
I wait for you in rainy afternoons, on
roads made of asphalts, differentiating
reality from my dreams, yet ready to lend my
umbrella the moment you decide, all soaked in rain,
to come and stand by me.
I wait for you near the edge of the road,
waiting to hail the cab carrying you to your
destination, without it even knowing where to go.
Because till then you wouldn't know
where am I waiting for you since forever.
I wait, and I search, and I keep looking for you,
to find the love of my life, endlessly, without getting
tired, all the while knowing that I would never
find you. I could, only if you existed, but then that's
love, to be able to ache for someone who doesn't.

Some story
Her last words were,
"Let there be flight."
And with that, she
Took the plunge
Her leap of faith
And there ends her
Story, because not all
Of them were meant
To be.
You smiled till the end. Wish you would have told me once. I am sorry I couldn't do anything for you, nothing!

Naked Memories
I remembered you
Tiptoe around the
House, naked;
And my fingers ached
For your familiar touch,
And our memories
Under your skin.
Tiptoe around the
House, naked;
And my fingers ached
For your familiar touch,
And our memories
Under your skin.

Don't Stop Loving Again
Love, Oh Love!
Oh, Love!
You excruciatingly
Painful Love!
The always
Elusive Love.
Always wrenching
Our hearts,
Making our
Soul writhe
In a moment
Of unending passion.
Oh Love, and
Your gifts of
Loneliness,
And de trop
Wisdom!
Yet, how I
Crave for you
In nights,
Destitute of
Your memories.
How I crave
For love,
To be loved.
And I am
Not afraid
To say that
I love you,
Oh Love, and
Get my heart
Broken
Everytime.
P.S. Don't you dare stop falling in love again Lady!

Deafening
When the whole world is fucking eachother's
Brains out in a feverish frenzy
Late at night,
I am going mad with their deafening screams,
While trying to hold on to her
Fake orgasmic memories.

Road to Perdition
The roads at night
Seldom complains of
Their drudgery of the day.
Serene and tranquil,
They toil hard to
Take each wanderer
To their destination.
Bring them a little
Closer to their home.
Grey clouds takes
A leisurely stroll
Across the dusky sky,
And the day slowly
Turns to sleep
Facing the other side.
The night puts an
End to our daily,
Mundane routines.
And the roads
Come home.
Dank, dark, soaked
In rain. Drenched in
The memories of
Crossing paths with
Complete strangers.
They talk to me.
Are you lost?
Why don't you go,
somewhere, anywhere?
Don't you have
Nowhere to go?
I don't know what to
Tell the roads.
Where will I go
When I have no home.

La Douleur Exquise
You made it quite clear,
And I should have been gone by now.
Back to the bowels of hell.
I should have entombed myself
Within the lonely lairs
Of an endless memory in sepia.
But I was too touched by your words,
Fell too much in love with you
To be without you. So what!
Its better that I be late
Than to not learn at all about my
True worth for you.
So, I'll take leave now and
Bury you within the windows
Of mindless conversations.
I'll carry this short-lived
Strangership on my shoulders
Forever, like a bleeding crucifix.
I'll talk to random strangers.
Pick them one night at a time,
Even when I don't need or want to.
And you'll then simply fade away,
Go away. Slowly, surely. One
Painful soliloquy at a time.
And I should have been gone by now.
Back to the bowels of hell.
I should have entombed myself
Within the lonely lairs
Of an endless memory in sepia.
But I was too touched by your words,
Fell too much in love with you

Borrowing Your Sorrows
Ever felt that
everything inside you
just lurched within
yourself and got drowned?
That all the screws
holding you together
just went on a break,
you simply felt apart?
I did.
And that was the
happiest that I ever felt.
Because
You had promised that all your sorrow,
Whenever I can find them lying with you,
I can borrow.
And I just made you smile.

the long drawn conversation
the way you think,
most people don't,
and so
i can have that conversation with you,
which most people wont
For Her Highness.

Being Naked
Naked is good.
Naked is where you
Are most vulnerable,
most beautiful.
Naked makes you
An epitome of truth.
Being naked, you
Will look through the
Eyes of the wolf
To find Aristides.

Being With Me
As her soul drowned slowly into
The shallow sea of melancholic memories
Lowered by the chain of her thoughts,
An idea suddenly gripped her.
What if I am alone here too?
"But what if you are?"
Said a voice from inside.
"Then I'll be lonely, again"
"How can you be, when you are with you?"
And she saw the chains turn into a swing.

Memories From Saigon
Long time ago
I met a whore from Saigon.
She was ugly as hell,
As was I, but always
True to her patrons.
She once asked me
If I loved her
I took her to the window
From where we heard the bustle of
Distant busy streets.
We could see a torn fragment of
The night sky
That wept in silence.
We sat together underneath it for a long time
Holding eachother's hands.
I said, "yes"
We both knew we were pretending.
I, out of habit.
She, just for a few seasons of
Fake happiness.

Happy Friendship Day
Never mind, she said,
Let it go.
I'm bleeding from my throat,
But I'm afraid no more.
I have heard too many
'Bye's in this life,
And fewer 'Hello's.
I'm a little mad,
About you
But I'm afraid no more
Of stoic rejections,
For a wait of a lifetime
I'll be there for you,
Sings Rembrandts
The voices comes from my head
And I stretch my arms to hold you
Through the screen
All I get is
A handful of stardust.
And a mouthful of dreams.

Cure For True Love
It was easy to find
A cure for your morning wood.
I can give you a thousand solutions
To keep it down.
a. get a head
b. fornicate
c. a handjob is nice
d. jerk twice
...and I can give you a thousand more.
But
Its love that's
Difficult to fix. It seems
True love doesn't have a cure.
A Suicidal Mind
People are there to tell you
Tales of infinite wisdom
That they hardly followed.
But if someone comes upto you
And tells you that
Suicide is a cowardly act
Give them a razor and
Ask them to slit their wrists
When their hands flail,
Ask them,
"Where lies the cowardice now?"

I Could Kill An Elephant Right Now
In, out, in, out,
Its all the same,
Don't be in doubt.
A handful of boobs,
A dick and the art of
Applying the lubes.
It was all about sex,
That's how I see it
When I see my ex.
Or maybe it was money.
But you knew, I could never
Grease you enough, Honey!
A series of "Fuck You!"
Dick sucking and stroking,
I always knew.
But there was more,
And you wouldn't know it,
I am very sure.
Ever heard of the word
Called Love? You dirty
Cock-sucking broad?
How would you, when love
Entered through your anus
With his every shove.
Now I am gone, bitch!
Don't try an find me,
Next time when you're ditched.
I am out searching for true
Love, a hand held in my
Palms, underneath the sky above.
Kindred Spirit?
I broke a little today.
Like a biscuit,a cookie
Like a Chinese puzzle piece taken away from the original mural.
I am the Original.
And I gave away
A little bit of myself today.
That bit will remain with you forever
Sorry, but I couldn't explain
Kindred spirit to you.
That's something beyond words, isn't it?
But, don't worry, you will understand
Give it time and you would know
Your Kindred spirit
From the other tragic souls in this world,
Give it some time and you would know
Me.
